Question What is 'Affordable?'

So the 8 starts around 26,000 for the 6 speed, and I was curious if anyone would share what percentage of their monthly take-home their payments consume?

I know its kinda rude to ask, but I am seeking information to determine whether or not I can _really_ afford an 8...

I heard that one should not spend any more than 15% of your take home on car payments, and I am wondering if other people follow this logic...?

Whoa Nelly.... I can't believe 3 out of 8 people that have responded to this poll as of now are actually spending more than 15% of their take home pay on their car payment.

A little financial planning may be in order for some of the members!

Well, there are a lot of people who have higher car payments than they do mortgage payments. Americans are consumers.

I am one of those in that category. Maybe it was more like proper planning, as I opted to do 3 year payback instead of 6.....

What should I be spending my income on, if not one of the best Sports car for the money? Please share.
