Transmission warranty question

So everyone knows about the problem in the 04-08 transmissions with reverse popping out of gear and grinding. Yes, you can pull back and force into reverse, but sometimes still it does not go in. This grinds the gear really badly, and I am afraid if it happens too many times, it will wear the gear to thin. So my question is: Is this covered under the mazda warranty? If so, which waranty? the 60,000 mile one? or the 100,000 mile one?

Thanks for any help

Would this grinding problem be covered? I'm afraid they'll blame it on me and say i was negligent by not forcing it into gear.

no such thing.

grinding is NOT part of the "This is how transmission works" right ?

So its covered.

but unless you're at some really good dealerships with really good techs, they will just tell you "cannot replicate problem". So if they pull that one on you, ask their Tech to go have a ride with you and show them "how to do it"

i have a question about transmission issues also. im in warrenty aswell. but the problem i am having is if i accelerate in 3rd gear to appove 5k rpm and then shift to 4th it will grind and fight me untill i push it in. i tried double clutching and also had a guy from the mazda dealer drive it and he had the same issue. i dont think it is the synchro because when i go from 5th to 4th it works great. it only happens when going 3rd to 4th and im appove 5k rpm. if you guys have heard of this or know any info about it PLEASE let me know b4 i try to have it replaced under warrenty and the deny me.
