Tips on buying a new rx-8???
Whats up everyone, I will be buying a brand new RX-8 in June or July this summer here in Los Angeles, CA. I was wondering about what kind of tips you guys can give me on bringing the price to near invoice. I am looking into black or blue. I might (MIGHT) eventually get black rims on it. Here is what i want on the car...has to be auto (LA stop and go traffic), touring package, rotary accent, appearance package, spoiler. Thats about all I want with the car. The rest is aftermarket stuff. Send some tips my way on what price i should look for cuz I need to start saving for a down payment. peace

I got the bare-bones 8 for $25K. I couldn't be happier; it's the nicest base package on the market, bar none. There was no haggle at my dealer (White Bear, MN). Their BEST price was immediately presented to me. 2300 miles later, I love it much more now that I have seen how it handles traffic situations. Zoom-zoom, is right.

In the Bay Area the RX8 is going a couple hundred bucks below invoice. You can probably do better in LA with more competitions around.

actually, there is one main dealer here in LA. Galpin Mazda ( the biggest ford/mazda/jaguar etc. dealer in the world and 2nd most selling in the world) is here and they offer near invoice is what the dealer told me. Not much competition here. Next Mazda dealer is about 45-60 minutes away.
