Should I buy?

I am thinking of purchasing a used Automatic 2004 RX8 with 9000 miles on it for 19500. It has the leather interior. From the threads I have read gas mileage seems to be the biggest complaint but it is the only Car that has the styling I like.

I am debating on whether to keep my Acura 2002 RSX with 71000 and pay it off in a year and see what else comes out or go for the RX8. I also read some very neagtive posts about engine issues. My RSX hasnt given me any problems and I would hate to buy a used car and end up with lots of problesm. Thoughts?

The additional fuel costs is marginal and is not a legitimate gripe. However, if you want *** spanking power it may not be the car for you. Other than that I say go for it. You will find that people in general are highly satisfied with the car and it has recieved good marks in reliability from reputable sources.

You'll be kicking yourself if you get an automatic for 19,500. Honestly, You could get a much better price on an 04 automatic than that, and for 19,500, I would go for a newer used 6 speed.

MT vs Auto

I know I will sound like a Pu**y *** but never owned a MT. LOL. I do a lot of City driving. I heard from a dealer about purchasing a new RX8 and will see what kind of deal they offer. A new would be great but wont have all the options that I am looking at on the used.

Any thoughts on what a good price to pay for the 2004 used RX8 Auto with Leather/ 9100 MIles etc?

I looked at Kelly Blue book. Excellent condition would be 20,990.

Thanks a lot.
