I looking to get another 8. I totaled my almost 2 months ago so I've been debating on whether to get another one or not and I still want another 8.
Last year I bought my 04 black 6spd gt red/blk interior with mazda chrome wheels for 31900 out the door. That excluded tax since I was registering the car in Oregon and Oregon has no sales tax. I felt like a got a decent deal especially if the car would have cost me around 36500 to 37000 at the time. Now that I'm in the market again I need some help buying a new one.
Basically, I'm looking for the same car without the chrome wheels. I'd like to get the wheels but, I'll just have to get them later or buy some other ones. Ok, so I figure going with an 04 is the best option right now. I would like to get an 04 Black 6sp GT red/black interior...with additional options of the appearance package, spoiler, and rotary accents. How much I'm I looking at out the door? Exclude taxes since I'll be able to get out of paying those. One thing I'm not clear on is the when it says tax,title, licensing fees. Well tax I understand ok. Are title and licensing fees included in what the dealer calls doc fees? My friend is a manager at mazda and she tells me that its a fee they have to charge. She said they could waive it but, its the one fee that they charge and thats it. I don't feel I necessarily have to buy from her and I'm willing to buy out of state. I'd be flying in from Germany anyway to get it so it doesn't really matter.
Now if I decided on an 05 what I'm I looking at price wise as far as having the same options listed above. I just want to get an idea so I can save as much cash as possible. I might be wrong but, I would think the only things I'd have to pay for are...Price of vehicle, doc fees, and destination charge. I wouldn't think I would need to pay for tax or licensing if I'm buying out of state and titleling fees I'm unsure of..Well any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
