I am in the market for a '05 RX-8 with the Touring package and I'm hoping to walk out the door for $25,000 including tax, tags, and fees. Is this possible with rebates? I'm thinking there is the $1000 MAC. I'm working hard to figure out how to get the Gerber rebate. We don't have the ZoomZoom live anywhere near NC, so that one is out, and I'm just not sure about whether the recent grad rebate is still in existence. If there are any other rebates, please let me know. Also, is it absurd for me to think I can walk out of there for $25,000? If so, I can always back down to the sport package, but I really want the sunroof!

 

I wouldnt think the touring for 25k is out of reach when the 06s start showing up. I still havent bought myself but I would think that is very possible.

I went to a dealershiup the other day and they said 1.5k off for MAC

 

Mazda's website says otherwise.... Check the link on the site for a list of incentives by model.

 

yeah maybe they were lying to me, but I asked what rebated and all I could get he said either 2,000 off on a lease or 1,00 if you finance through MAC. I always thought it was just 1k and it could be. just saying thats what he told me.

 

My dealer told me 1,500 as well but he apparently worked that off separately. I wonder what the exact # is.

I'm trying to get a sports package under 25k with TTL included and it's proving to be a challenge. Maybe with the 46% in sales drop August '04 vs. August '05 these rebates will get better for '05s?

Anyone remember what the rebates were last year for '04 RX-8 in Sept/Oct/Nov?

 

On the gerber rebate we sent in copies through our dealer and they kept saying they needed the org. My wife looked up gerber did some research , talked to them and told them we bought a 05" and they mailed us a gerber rebate card , we mailed it to the dealer , will see what happens ?
on the sport our has the sun roof because my wife does not like leather .

You can call gerber or email gerber (gerber.com) and they will mail you a discount form for 500.00. You must also get a confirmation letter from Mazda to validate the rebate form. The instructions are on the Gerber rebate form.

Also anyone who has attended a zoom zoom event can give you their 500.00 discount certificate. I have seen some selling theirson ebay.

Also if you live in the Huricane areas of Katrina (and maybe Rita) you are eligable for a 750.00 discount from Mazda. This is good until January 1st ?? 2006.

These discounts are good on all 2005 and 2006 models.
