looking to buy...please help!!

I live in NJ. i want an RX-8. I can't spend a lot.

The best I can do is $11.5K but all in cash. I am hoping for a manuel in blue, black, white, or dark silver. but i will heavily consider anything that is offered.

If you have any suggestions on how to obtain one at such a price, please help.

Please post back or email cziering@gmail.com

i've never seen anything remotely that low. i think i may have seen an 85k mile '04 go for about $15k but unless you're planning on spending some more, you may want to find another car - sorry.

the lowest i have seen is 13.5K, with high milage, but most will take a dip in price for an all cash offer

the government doesnt have to know it is that much

not sure i understand what you mean by the government knowing. do you mean when you register? if so, they go by the book value and not the amount paid. i actually got a great deal but when i went to register they had it listed for $18500 so that's what they taxed me on.

The absolute lowest price anyone has quoted in the closing prices thread in this forum is $15,000 (37,000 miles, GT package). It was mentioned sometime in mid-february. If you look at my spreadsheet https://www.rx8club.com/purchasing-financing-insurance-56/want-know-if-youre-getting-good-price-use-spreadsheet-110548/, you'll see lower prices on eBay, but those cars tend to be much riskier buys (salvage titles, etc). Even then, the lowest price in the spreadsheet is $12,000, which is still over your budget.

Dude, just use that money for a downpayment on a pre-owned... your payments would be really low.

If you paid 11k for an 8.... you're seriously gonna get what you pay for... like, one with no engine, or some other serious problems.
