Just purchased an 04 MT Rx8

Howdy to all ya fellow rotary lovers...

Just a month or so ago I purchased the car I´ve been looking forward to..the Rx8.
Its an 04 manual transmission, sunlight silver, standard interior(no leather seats,no nav,no 9 speaker even tho I would like to upgrade and if theres a way to actually know where the other speakers go right now I can only figure 6(2 front,2 tweeters,2 back speakears, the other 3?)no DSC or traction control 45k miles.

Already had his REVi and air duct intake,it already had a Greddy mipipe, and Greddy catback exhaust. Tokico suspension upgrade onfront.

Car runs great, smooth idle 95% pct of the time unless cold I can hear some little noises down by the CAT but I´m pretty sure its one of the studs the previous owner told that were in need to be replaced(looking forward to this asap). No oil leaks, all gears hang and drop in smoothly(I still need to change the tranny and diff oil fluid). Haven´t gotten a compression test cuz on my country,I´m pretty sure I won´t be able to get it(Honduras,Central America) but the car pulls healthy to 9k revs unlike some videos Ive seen over youtube of failed compression engines.Done her first oil change used Castrol GTX 10w-30 (temp around is mostly 32-39c).New batt installed too.

Big wall of text is big,but I paid my lil rotary for 9k$ how is it?
Anything to look out and check or redo on my car?Upload pics of it in a while.

Welcome,

All I can say is read, read, read. There are 2 threads for getting started in my sig. I would start there. One is for new owners, one is for after you read that and are ready to start playing.

Again, welcome.

45,000 miles and only 9,000. The grand touring models must hold their value significantly better. When I was on the hunt for one several years ago I was looking for a base model and ended up with a grand touring instead because the one I found was cheaper than the base models and with fewer miles.

Edit: Looking on Kelly Blue Book, the price should be in the 12,000 to 13,000 dollar range for good to excellent shape.
