It will likely depend on your credit score?

True, so let's pretend that the credit score is over 700. Then what would it be? Anyone in that boat?

The 3.8% is not bad! I wonder if Mazda will match/beat the 3.64% from People First (60 months, $36k no deposit). Still not sure if I will lease or finance.

3.8 is not bad at all. I was expecting Mazda to nail us at around 6.5-7.0%. But 4-5% is reasonable.

I got 3.49% thru the dealership (Hancock Mazda, Mesquite TX) -- they matched the peoplefirst.com 36 month rate, and offered up to 60 months at that same rate. They treated me well so I went with their program instead of peoplefirst. Tough call, got great service from both.

BTW, I LOVE my car! I like it better every time I drive it -- and I liked it the first time I got in. Looking forward to lunch hour so I can go for another drive. (Kind of reminds me of that old saying... Can't wait to look in the mirror, I get better looking each day.)

And,
Lightning Yellow ROCKS!

Great news - so Mazda credit is competitive if I want to finance but sucks if I want to lease..

Seikx8 - what is you monthly payment after $10k down and how much did that theft protectionplan cost?

Yes it is very competive. It's help to have the pre-approved loan, and most dealer will try to beat it while negociating sometime of trade off deal and everyone come out to be a winner at the end.

With the GT 6M + Nav + Plan + 10K down, my monthly payment come out to be $603 and it's a simple term loan with no penalty of early payment. Originally, I got pre-approved for 4.09%, with same amount down, I still end up paying around ~$580. The theft replacement protection plan I think it's something like $800 for 5 Years which covered the entire loan period; haven't have the time to go over everything yet, was too excited.

My dealer is offers BofA and Wells Fargo loans, which were both pretty high. We got ours financed through US Bank. They are doing promotional rates at 3.99% right now (though we got ours for 3.49% because my wife works for the bank) Still, 3.99 is pretty good... I don't remember the Credit Score cutoff for this rate though.
