insurance info? anybody?

Does anybody have any idea what an insurance quote on a RX-8 would be for a 19 yr old male with no wrecks and no tickets?

You will not get an answer for that.

Every state, area, insurance company, are different.

but it sounds like u're NOT paying for your car. so I think u might want to wait a little for your insurance to go down more.

Probably quite high, even with bare-bones insurance. There is a lot more that can affect your rate, anyway, such as where you live (not just state) how much of what you are required to carry on your car, how much you drive it, where you park it, et cetera. A lot more goes into it than just your age and driving history.

I think you are better off calling insurance companies to try and get a quote.

yea that's not something anyone here can really help you with, because its so different from person to person.

However, anymore you can pretty much go to almost any of the major insurance companie's websites and get a quote online. I know that from Progressive, they get you a quote right there on the net, no strings attached. That should give you a better idea.

As an owner of an RX-8 and owner of an Insurance Agency, I know where to go. When shopping for car insurance, One company does not fit all markets. Each company has a tiering system that is very complex. The formula is different for each zip code, age, vehicle, current MVR with trailing 35 months, and your financial responsibility. Each of these have multiple values as well. . Each Insurance Company has to file rate change(s) with the commisioner of the state in which they make changes, well before in can be inforced to current or active business. The thing the RX8 has going for it is that the car has 4 doors and a 2 cylnder engine. The car exceeds crash test, from its rigit frame. Stops on a dime. 8 air bags. Most companies give a good rate anyway on the vehicle. So you never check around. But you may be with a company that is not competitive in your zip code or your age. Maybe your in a Standard company with tickets or other reasons? The same coverage with another A rated carrier, Non Standard , could be more competive. It could be vice versa. That's all I can tell you, wich is public record. They either rate you out or in. If you live in TN/MS/AR, I will quote you free. I have wide range of Insuance Companies. If I can't help you, I will send you in the best direction. The car has a low symbol rating, and justified. So on average the vehicle is a wash in the rate. Hope that may help some of you.

im 21 female in va my insurance is only 1200 a year & i have a clean driving record yours will depend where your car is located and it will be higher bc you are a guy. If you are in school still you may want to apply for honor roll thing which is basically if you get decent grades insurance is lower
