Help*Lots of Q's about Private Seller. Should I buy from them?

Okay I dont know if this is a stupid question, but I found a Private Seller in my area who has the perfect car I'm looking for.....but I dont know where to start, how do Private Seller deals work My parents won't help me buy this car if it doesnt have warranty so I'm really hoping this car does. I've already emailed the person asking about any body damage, wrecks, etc. And I'm wondering what else should I ask this person? Also, someone told me that since I'm currently a college student and working full time it would be easier for me to receive a bank loan. Last.....would it be better to get a loan from the bank rather than a dealership? Heres some of the Rx8's info I really want to buy.....please tell me if you think its worth it? ANY HELP would be very Appreciated, THANKS.

how is it you say it is a private sale, and then you ask if it's better to get a loan from a bank or a dealership? how, or should i say why, would you be going through a dealership for a loan if it is a private sale?

besides the fact, 27,000 for a 2004 RX8 with almost 10,000 miles isn't a good deal...in the least! the fact that he has all that crap on the car like foose wheels and crap still doesn't justify the price.

Sorry worded it wrong I'm new at this whole buying cars, loans, good prices/bad prices etc. And it is a Private Seller, I was just asking a different question concerning about getting loans in general. Yea the price is kinda high.....Good Point but it looks so damn cool and its the car ive been lookin 4 for a couple months now...but im not going 2 buy it yet I just wanted a few questions answered, Thanks for the Input.

There's two "NEW" 04' 8's (Black one and Silver one) at our local Stealership.
Both loaded and marked down to $24,999 each.
I suspect there are many left over 04's nationwide with excellent prices.

Buy a new car---even if it's a '05--less problems.

Buy a new one, just pay a little more and you dont have to worry anything (warranties, at least)

27K for a used one .... sounds way overpriced for me.
