Is there any comparison between the 8 and an Si?

I have test drove the 8 and loved it but I want to also try out an Si that a local dealer has in stock now. It's the new 06.

Any thoughts?

I had a 2000 Si, and the 2006 is supposed to be even better. Nothing like that sound at VTEC with a cold-air intake. I really liked my Si but, in my mind, there is no comparison if you want a real sports car ride. If you want mileage, get the Si.

 

i had a 99 for almost 5 years .. but these days rx8 wins over the si in my eyes

 

The Si isn't bad at all, but the Rx-8 is so much fun to drive and has way better styling. There is a price difference, but i think the Rx-8 is def worth the extra $$. I really can't say anything bad about the Si though, no matter who says what, Honda and Mazda both make great cars. My favorites before I bought the Rx-8 were: S2000,Civic Si,WRX Sti,EVO,350z, but after looking and test driving, the Rx-8 was the most appealing inside and out, and way more practical than all the rest. You should drive all those cars though they're all sick.
