parents 500 miles round-trip away (monthly visits), girlfriend's parents 200 miles round trip (visit weekly), 40 mile a day commute, then drove all over the place in general (trips to VT in winter, 500 miles, went to niagara falls, 1K round trip w/ detours, etc etc etc).

the car was driven proper though... redlined it every day on average, got all my 130hp worth, and got an average of 24mpg in the first year of ownership. then i toned down my driving and averaged 27mpg.
