No all dealers do not.

How about "I'm not paying for the paint protection, blah blah blah"? or negotiate using invoice not msrp.

 

My dealer, and the three others in my area, are happy to place me in a car with the factory options I need. They seem rigid about the dealer added items, as if they had no control over adding them. "All our cars have First Place Finish on them." I suspected I'd need to order an RX-8 to keep the "Bump Sticker" items off the table. I wonder how others have resolved this dilemma?

 

Its sad that some dealers still pull that crap on cars that they perceive are "in demand". I was fortunate that dealers in my area had plenty of 8's in stock(one dealer had 70). Have you tried an internet search? Maybe wait another month till dealers feel more pressure to unload the 04's to make room for the 05's. Ideally, you need to get a couple dealers bidding against themselves.
