ATTENTION !! ALL 05 GT RX-8 owners !!! I need some HELP

Been a member for almost a month now. Planning to buy an 2005 Winning blue RX-8 GT (fully loaded, except navvy gps) b4 Christmas. I live on the west coast of FL. I just want to know how much you guys paid for your cars that where fully loaded 05's. I heard about Jim Ellis mazda in Atlanta giving 25% off MSRP.

I will be able to put $5,000 cash down and will be getting a s-plan from my brother who sales Fords up in NJ. I'm only 22 years old and dont want to get raped here, so any help you guys can give that would be great. I look forward talking to you guys alot more, especially when the RX-8 is in the driveway.

S-Plan will take it to about 30k just by itself. With any cash and dealer allowances I would think that would drop to something near 27k +/- a little, then with the 5k down you would be looking at a very managable payment. Play games with them, maybe you can keep some of the 5k for Clear Corners, Exhaust, Shift Boot, Strakes, Mazdaspeed kit, whatever you want to add. I S-planned mine just before all of the deals hit and I got it for 29.5 plus 2k in rebates, that was in September. The hardest thing to find will be the exact car you want.

Yeah I really want to put a body kit on it. Can the dealerships put on the goodies like all that stuff you mentioned.

okay last time I talk to the car dealer on the phone the car was 31000
- $2000 = S PLAN
- $1500 = 05 SAVINGS
- $1000 = MAZDA CREDIT SAVINGS so now its down to = 26500

-$5000 cash down = 21500

It just seems to me the car dealership should be able to save me more than $2500 on a 05 with 06's coming out around the corner.

Not sure if this helps - in May '05 I bought my 2004 GT with everything but navigation for $24,300. With about 150 miles on the odo. Now that was past the end of the model year, but maybe there's some more play in the dealer's price.

That Atlanta deal is good. If you just want a low price, check it out. Factor in your air fare to Atlanta.

I bought my car at Russell Mazda in Clearwater. They are selling at invoice. Mazda rebates are $2500. I got my car at $5,200 off of sticker, plus I haggled an extra $400 on my trade. I may have gotten a better deal elsewhere, but I want to have a good relationship with my dealer. Russell is a dying breed of independantly owned car dealership. The owner talks with you personally. I had a really good experience. Ask for Michael Wininger and tell them Dana sent you.

I got my new 2005 GT in May. It came with Navigation and I also got them to throw in the MP3 player with installation. I paid around $31,000 for that, $34,000 after taxes and fees.
