Has anybody ordered from them and if so what was your experience? For an RX-8 with every option checked here's their price.
CarsDirect Price:$31,931
Invoice Price : $32,281
MSRP Price: $35,250

Did you use the Dealer quote (within CarsDirect) or CarsDirect price?
I haven't tried this service but if I can get as much off as you have I may do, just so I don't have to haggle.
I just tapped in a quote (using CarsDirect not CarsDirect Dealer Quote) for Ti Gray GT with Navi, appearance pkg, accent pkg, Spare tire, rear spoiler
CarsDirect Price $33,744
MSRP Price: $35,059
Invoice Price : $32,044
Which isn't so good
Hopefully they will give all the customer incentives on a lease deal as well... that would be the clincher.

I plan on using CarsDirect, if and when my down payment money comes to me (another story for another day). Their current price here in L.A. is $350 above invoice for the base MT, and that includes the $520 destination charge. One might do better at a dealer, but I don't have the time or inclination to spend a whole weekend haggling with the dealers or even trying to play the fleet managers against each other. Also, CarsDirect's home office is only about 5 miles from where I live, if I need to see them in person for some reason. I have several friends who have used them, and they have nothing but raves about their service. I'm sure they're not perfect, and haggling may get you a better deal, but their prices are at least competetive.

With the amount of time and research I have put into this I could have afforded $1500 over invoice, but now it would be really bad if I did all this research and then settled for that sort of deal.

Interesting - in my area they quote an MT Sport at $100 under invoice. 2 local dealers advertised this weekend - one at invoice, one $99 over invoice. If I can get this done for less without dealing with these dealers, sounds like a no-brainer!
