36 months residuals

What are people getting for residuals on a 36 month lease?

On a 2004 Manual, my dealer is quoting .49 for a 36 month 12,000 mile lease. Is this correct? It seems a bit low, IMHO. I thought I saw somewhere else here with a .58 or something on a 3 year lease.

Go to leasecompare.com, and you can a representative sampling for your area for what banks are using. It typically comes from a guide that ost banks use, but sometimes dealers will bump up the residual to lower the payments.

I got 65% for a 24 month lease 12K per year back in August if that helps.

about half a year ago, it was 58%, it has continually dropped since then, and 49% sounds right. As average buy prices go down, so does the residual value. Especially since it is now the 'old' model year.
