$23k out the door for '05 base good deal?

Give me your opinions. I can get Tigrey '05 base brand new for a little under $23k out the door.

Thanks.

That sounds pretty good. I got mine for about that (including ins, tags, title, ect.) just about a month ago. Mazda is giving a $4000 rebate plus another $1000 when you finance through Mazda Credit. You can usually get a little from the dealer as well.

I do not know about that , I just went to Mazda last Friday and they had several 05's for under 25k and they were 6sp GT's. Maybe you can only spend 23k? They had the two tone leather. Really Nice!!

Yeah same here. My local dealer said he'll take $6500 off the MSRP of any '05 vehicle in stock. So yes I can get a GT for around $25k. But I don't have that kind of cash. And also I don't want leather.

22750 OTD is pretty darn good.... basically the same price for a Scion tC, but you get A WHOLE LOT MORE CAR for that price in the 8!

No, not really. You should be able to get a sport with appearance/rotary accents and cd changer for that price.

I paid exactly 22,000 out the door for my 05 SPORT, appearance, rotary accents, and all weather mats brand new. Tax here in 8.25%. Call around lots of dealers were advertising 6500 off msrp when I bought mine in May but after I called about 20 dealers in TX I found 1-2 that would do 9000 and one that would do 10,000 even with the options I wanted.

I think it's a good price.

You should hear what we bought the 04 models for.

Not so fond of Ti gray, but that's a good deal. I got my '04 in January for about $1,000 less than that.

I got my 2005 Whitewater Pearl Sport used from a dealer with only 3,500 miles on it for like $21,000. Plus tax when I registered it here in VA. I would get a Sport and not a base model.

I hear the Stability control / Traction control can be a lifesaver...

My .02,
Joe
