I know how you feel. I've been there before with my FD. Don't lose hope. You'll have an opportunity again to own one. I thought I'd never be able to get one again and 4 years later the RX8 came out and I was able to get one and have been happier now than I was then.

Look at it this way: In 2012 when the new model with the 16x comes out you'll have a perfect excuse to get one.

 

Too bad. I still think you should have gotten a weekend morning job to pay for it, and hid her in a storage unit someplace.

Yeah I'll still come out to the drives, although I don't think that lil' 3 will keep up very well lol I'm thinking I may do some minor mods to put a few more ponies under the hood which should help a little.

After a year or so I think I may just buy another RX-8 again...after driving a few other cars since I've found that I'm just too spoiled with the handling....everything else feels like a pig lol

Interesting note: while I was at Lee Johnson Mazda this past Monday doing the PCM flash, he mentioned that there's a good chance a MS RX-8 will debut at the end of the year and they're keeping it under wraps until then. I don't know if there's any truth to this and I'm pretty skeptical, but if by some remote chance it's true, I think I found my next car.
