ok, maybe i should put it up to a poll then, i'm selling my FC for $2000 i'll let ya know when i get the cash and i'll take the community's input into account for my first mod, and i'm really not thinking rims should be the selection, i'd rather spend money on improving performance first

If money is tight and the coils need swapped then buy OE coils from Mazmart. Plugs will run you $20 per. Do not buy either from the dealership. They want $160 for plugs and forgot how much for coils but it is ridiculous. The OE coils will not last long so if you have extra cash then buy the BHR coil package. It includes LS2 coils, bracket, wires and plugs. The coils will last a long time. Not to mention their customer service is second to none. Compression check will run you $100+ at the dealership. I wonder how much FD3S charges though?
Your car is a 2004? Make sure all the recalls have been performed. The dealership can run your VIN to let you know what has been done.

it's $100 for oem coils from the dealer but you should really get the bhr set; they'll last much longer and have better performance.
compression test is like $100-$120 if nothing's wrong. if your motor is not within spec (<6.9 kgf/cm2) then it's free and they'll replace it with a reman.
