You know, I need to know the dates so I can check the calander and try to get off. I didn't see anywhere the dates, but I thought it was October 26-28, so what day would the caravan be staring it's way down, et ceter so I can plan? I work Tuesday-Saturday normally and my department only lets one to two level II's off at once, and only one per weekend day, so I might be out of luck for getting a Saturday off. Hmmmm....
BUNNY NEED DETAILS!!!!!!!
If I can get the days off work, definitely count me in this year!!!!!

LOL- it would be nice to know the dates. They have not updated the website yet...

I started this, and the caravan thread, to gauge the interest. I may even bow out myself, just don't know for sure yet if I have the time myself. It's a long drive, so maybe two days down, one to two days there, and two days back?

Well, that just knocks me out. All the level 2 spots are filled for time off that week/weekend. Too bad it wasn't October, like I had just read somewhere else. That week/weekend was totally free and clear.

From my driveway to Irvine, CA it's 1188 miles. I did that drive in one day a few years ago and it was in my Tacoma (which is hardly a land speed record holder). I left the hotel at about 5:30am and arrived at my house at 10:30pm. I stopped for gas only. It was actually a lot of fun to do.
It's a very easy two day trip from Seattle to Irvine. Redding, CA is roughly half way and is a good place to stop for the night; plus they have plenty of large hotels just off I-5.
This would be a ton of fun.
