Anyone following the build of Oregon Raceway? Loving the names for the corners, Half Pipe, Pucker Factor This track looks like it is going to be a blast!

Location? Is it near Portland?

 

Grass Valley and according to Google maps it is 130 miles east of Portland.

 

I sense a Washington RX8 Road Trip to Oregon in 2009!

I think it would be awesome to have a bunch of RX7 & 8s down there! Infact I say when they are open officially we plan a big ol' gathering! Gather on Friday afternoon/evening. Go there Saturday morning, spend all day racing/hanging out and then head out on Sunday!

But I am certainly interested in making the trip down there just for the track alone! It looks like so much fun!

Finally a closer track. I've gone down to Medford Oregon every year for track meet. It was something my KL engineclub used to do, but funny thing was last couple of years we were all driving evos, sti's, and speed3's. That track looks a lot bigger and hopefully it won't have the 105 degree summer heat like Medford. I'm definately down for a meet.

 

That is awesome! That would be worth the drive up to run on that.

Looks to be coming along nicely. Hopefully we can put together a group to attend an event this year. I'd like to do a two day event to make the travel worth it.

And all I need is a track weekend without a cheer competition or a high school grad...or a family camping trip.....Damn.......This sucks

Toyo T1R at 275/35 should hold, but they are not r compounds...
