They want expert and intermediate drivers. I know my limitations, and I let people pass me. I would say that this is a technical track, and nobody really knows the drive lines yet, So I bet people will trying different attacks all day.
Come watch!!

My coworker was out out their recently but did not get on the track. He races bikes but was just helping out and hanging out with friends. Anyway the report he got was the track is definitely technical with some blind turns due to elevation changes. Also mentioned the bigger bikes never got out of 3rd gear. He said it was perfect for 600cc - 750cc bikes.
Sounds perfect for the high RPM RX-8

You need to e-mail Morgan to see if they still have slots open. Morgan Palatov [mailto:m@palatov.com]
If Dan does not get his car ready, he is going to co drive mine.
Come and watch us if you cannot get in.

Looks like I'm going to be LOUD on the track. Have not had time to finish my custom midpipe. I will be running my straight midpipe off the headers, and into the dual exhaust.

Working now on the Camcorder mount off the rear upper safety seat hooks.

Finally a closer track. I've gone down to Medford Oregon every year for track meet. It was something my KL engineclub used to do, but funny thing was last couple of years we were all driving evos, sti's, and speed3's. That track looks a lot bigger and hopefully it won't have the 105 degree summer heat like Medford. I'm definately down for a meet.
(sigh)
No, but I keep thinking about it.
I put over 20 hours into prepping the front and it's mostly ready for primer, but I haven't touched it in a long time. The sides need a little work to get the fit right and I haven't done anything at all with that. We are planning an addition on our house so I'm not sure I'll have the cash available for it. I've been on the fence about whether or not to sell it, but I really like the look.

Well, if you can keep your 8 from fuel starvation after exiting a mind altering left hand sweeper, and also keeping the 40 amp cooling fan fuse from blowing, you will experience no better track time than the ORP has to offer.
Never left 3rd gear except once, and only stayed in fourth for a few seconds. The track is highly technical with lots of elevation changes.
It was a hot day, around 90 degrees F. Dan and I blew all the carbon out of the engine I believe, because on the way home I got 22 MPG! The car ran better after thrashing the crap out of it. Imagine that. Too bad the engine is going, because I want to go back and drive this track again soon.
There are plans to build a second high speed track on the 125 acres they own to the South. Imagine TWO TRACKS!
Did not get many pics - sorry about that....
