NW Rotor Rally 2008

IT'S BACK!!!! THE LARGEST GATHERING OF ROTARY POWERED VEHICLES IN THE NORTHWEST!

RPNW an INWR are presenting the event this year. We're in the beginning stages of planning at this point, so all the details are still being worked out. This year will boast all the excitement of previous years, and maybe more.We have cars and owners from all over Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. We'll have the mobile dyno, the shows, the parades, the banquet, and all the fun you can possibly squeeze into one fun filled weekend.

The packets are in the planning and pricing stage, but will be similar to previous years. Start getting your little hot rods ready.

The website should be up and running within the week, and all updates will be posted on this forum as well as others, so check back often, and please post your comments. WE DO WANT TO KNOW WHAT EVERYONE THINKS.

Also, please remember Sponsorship is the key to making this event memorable and affordable for all. If you know someone who you think should be a sponsor, we can get you (or them) the information. This is an excellent opportunity for a sponsor to get their name out to the members of our family.

This years Rotor Rally will be in memory of Blake Qualley, former president of RPNW, and a true asset to the rotary community.

All details are still being worked out on the website, but keep checking back as our web page will be changing. All details should be close to being done within the next week or so. The date for this event is in Wenatchee, WA on May 2-4th.

The website is coming together now. Registration should begin within the next week. Remember, if you want a spot on the Dyno, register early. There's a limited number of spots.

Sounds like a blast .. Do the RX8's have our own area to park at the show or is it a first come parking basis?

Yes, RX7 1st, 2nd, 3rd gens have their own area, and so does the RX-8s. Though we are all in the same general area.

Please if you are planning on signing up go to http://www.nwrotorrally.com/
Its nice to get a headcount ahead of time, so I know how many will be attending, and how many shirts, dinners etc to order. You dont have to pay right away, but do let me know when you can. Also dont forget to sign up at the Red lion inn. When you do call ask to be under the RPNW room block, so you get the discount.

If you have any questions, feel free to pm me or email me at Strawburbr@msn.com

Sign up good to have you coming this year. Its May 2-4th. Heres the website with all the information and how to sign up etc. We all usually stay at the Red lion inn. We get a cheaper rate for that time of year. If you wanna book a room, let them know that you are with the RPNW room block. Please reserve your room way ahead of time before they fill up. You will not be charged till you arrive.

heres the site

Just to let everyone know. Menlo Mazda who usually sponsors us every year, will not be offering the rotor watches any longer. They have been discontinued.

BUT
Menlo Mazda from what I hear through the Grapevine is willing to offer an item(s) for our raffle that are well over $500+ in value.

This item(s) is well worth a trip to Apple Blossom. (theres two of them, and they go as a set). The only way you will be able to win this set item(s) (that any rotor person alive would want...snicker) is to sign up for a package and be at that banquet for your chance.

If your not there you don't win.

P:S
I want this raffle item(s)

this sounds like it would be a blast to attend. If I can find a sitter for the weekend or even Saturday, I'll definitely attend.

Honestly so far I have no RX8s signed up from what I see on the list. So you can be the first lol. would be nice to have at least one of you to represent the Rotary.

Come on you guys get signed up soon, April 1st is the deadline for the hotel and the packages. The hotel just flat out takes all the extra rooms that we cant fill
