I have been experiencing that since the day I got my 8 about 2 weeks ago. It seems no one knows what to make of the car, it's actually kinda cool.

Some one ruined the look of the 8 where i live. Douche bag is slapping stickers all over it (Rockstar, DC, Grenade etc) and re-ended a truck with a tail hitch and fucked up his bumper. So where you live again? haha i like when people stare at the car, not curse it.

Taking a break to eat dinner. Building my new exhaust atm, should have it all welded up tomorrow. Running out of time to use the chop saw and not **** off neighbors. Hopefully this muffler off my FD isn't to loud.

Anyone heard of jspfab.com? They built this part Renesis and part 13b motor with 5 exhaust runners. It was apparently installed in a RX8 but no other details yet.

Edit: Ahhh...they built this motor for MazdaTrix

Well it sounds really good and deep. It drones really bad around 4k but I'll find a silencer and see if that helps.

Pictures tomorrow. Some of you already got texts.

does anyone have a rear camber bolt and alignment washer?

I went to get my car aligned yesterday and the rear chamber washer is rounded out so it doesn't turn right, we had to take a air hammer to it to get it aligned right and tighten the hell out of it.

Are 5 exhaust runners really necessary? I could see it backflowing into the side ports because of prevailing flow from the peripheral ports. And forget about non turbulent flow before the turbine. Plus, that "header?"looks like it weighs a metric *** ton. I guess I dont see much of a benefit. Can someone inform me?

Doubt there's any turbulence that's going to cause any concern. Look at it as a glorified log manifold. Lol

So the drone really happens at 3k not 4k, 4k it smooths out and is crisp I might change the angle a bit in the future. I'll take some pictures in the day light. Now time to find an ms wing and tell the painter to do work!

Thanks. I have little cleaning up to do. Bonus is I built this with intentions if I were to get rid of it, anyone could bolt this up to stock exhaust hangers. Just would need to hack your rear bumper up.

I used a cut off wheel to cut the plastic. Took pretty much a full day. There was a lot of trail and error during placement. I stacked boxes and foam under the muffler than would sit back and stare. Crawl under the car with bunch of tubing and scrap, hold me up and maybe tack weld. Than hour later grind it all away cause I didn't like it. That's fabrication and this was even such a so simple thing.

Im glad some people like it I like it and that's all that matter though lol. Hard being different sometimes.
