Cruise control? >.<

Raise your hand if you're snowed in and your power is out!

All rain last night and today in Portland. Tues night was another story, however.

I work nights, and I tried to drive home for lunch (and to swap cars) early Wednesday morning. My neighborhood is on a small hill and I underestimated the situation. Tried three different roads, but each had a grade that I could not climb. Ended up parking my car in a parking lot and walking about a mile home.

Poor Miss Shinka! I'm sorry I took you out in such unsavory conditions.

Fortunately, got her later in the morning without issue.

Thinking about when it gets warmer and track days Vented hoods do not do much but a scoop will bring in fresh air.

Think you might be surprised. Put my ambient temp sensor under the hood. Swapped to the vented hood and dropped close to 20 degrees off the underhood temps. Going to see what it does to coolant temps in the spring. I think the improved airflow should help a lot
