Well damage control; Lower door paint pretty fubar, fender dented multiple spots/paint damage, front bumper tore at upper mounting spot, wheel had paint removed.

Hopefully I can get everything fixed and maybe pay little extra for a MS front.

Airplane fans will like this. The Reno Air Races are in a week or two. Also the IMAX Reno Air Race movie is supposed to come out next Feb.

The year I went, Strega topped 500 MPH

Sad day at the Reno air races today. P-51 crashed into the crowd, unknown deaths. I was suppose to be going but last minute plans cancelled that.

As well my "car" deal had last minute change of plans and it didn't work out. Super sad about that, but oh well :/ maybe wasn't ment to be. Though tomorrow (sat morning) I'm picking up something cheaper thats on an equal level and I'm keeping within the family...hint hint

cheaper - not an FD... My guess (having only met you once) would be an FC in Turbo trim.

Also, is anyone around here looking to part with a well-fitting carbon fiber hood?

Well since the old car was as classified as the SR-71; this one isnt that much of a "national security" "THREAT"

It will be a long project. Its hanging out in "Garage Dondo" till I clear some space.

1992 Mazda Rx7 RHD rolling chassis
Just has a set of Cusco coilovers (forgot model). Needs a serious buff job and some TLC.

You might have to wait a year to see a thread started. Thinking this through really well. Mapping and gathering all the parts before I dig into this. Also want to just post a A to Z thread all at once. Only way to know would be to stop by and look. Plus I work 12hrs mon-fri and 8 sat sun. Not a lot of time free.
