Sorry everybody, I can't make it now. I have to drive to seattle and see some relatives that are in town from Europe. Sucks!

 

ok i am planning on noon till 4 i will be here at 10 so come early if you would like and the bbq and prises will start around 1

 

Can you believe it - I have to go to a surprise party that afternoon. I'm pissed, but the War Department said I have to go. Looks like I'm out - have fun guys.

 

New member and work Saturday but Ill try to make it...

 

Well, my one job is being a bit snotty about me taking the day off and insist I make up my time, so it appears that if I start working at 6 a.m that day I will still be able to get in my 5 hours and still make it there. Meanwhile, I will still have to leave at 3:30 to get to my other job.

I'm still going to try to make it.

Just wanted to express my appreciation for the efforts made in getting us Mazda owners together. Although, it would of been nice to see other 8 owners and get to know them, it was nevertheless a fun event: got 3 little prizes to boot!!! So, thanks again RonTonkinMazda for a very kewl event. Hopefully the next one will get more of us 8 folks involved!!!

I would have come out for this, but I just hadn't been checking the forums much. I just saw this thread yesterday at about 5:30 pm, DOH!

 

A big thanks to the guys at Tonkin Mazda for putting this on, I was floored by the amount of prizes you gave away! You guys who didn't show up really missed out.

yeah the next one will be planned with a good 3 months notice i would of had double the amount of things to give away but lots of companies were slow in getting back to me and wanted a month notice and such. i will post up all the sponsors who gave everything for us but really we paid for the food which wow everyone ate alot lol and like 1 intake and the smaller items mazda gave us a intake, cp-e gave us a intake, we gave away one, a local tint shop tommy's window tinting gave away 2 tint jobs, hotchkis gave away a set of sways, twm gave away a $80 gift cert, nsnmotorsports gave away a set of front and rear red stuff pads i am sure i am missing something but it was great!

 

I'm sorry I missed it. My part-time job originally told me I could have off and go, then they changed their mind and said I can't take off because they were low on people to cover the accounts. So I had then arranged with them to start work early so that I could be done by 11:00. Then a few days before they told me that I couldn't do that either. Grrrr!!!!!!! At least next time, with a few months notice, I should be able to make it. With any luck it will be far enough out that I will have quit that crappy job!!!
