I know there's better places to ask but I'm not a member of any Honda or Acura forums lol A friend of mine at work has an Acura TSX which he wants to start modding since it drives like a pig. We're talking ECU, header, intake, etc. Does anyone know of any good, reputable Honda/Acura tuner shops on the Eastside? Preferably in Bellevue, Redmond, or Kirkland.

You know I meant to answer this one earlier. As far as I can tell, there are pretty much no more tuner shops around. I heard Stage Performance Tuning does pretty good work.

Judging by how long Intec in Kent has been around, I think they might be alright too. I got some price quotes from them on an exhaust and it sounds pretty much on par with internet. They opened up in 02-03 ish, I've been hanging around this stuff since 99 and pretty much saw all the shops in Bellevue shut down within the next few years.

I haven't had a shop do work to my Honda in a long long time. Your best bet is to just learn to wrench yourself and get a Helms service manual.

What kind of work are you looking to get done? Pretty much everything up to engine swapping is so easy with the products available on the market. Everything is bolt in and plug and play, what do you need a shop for?

 

University Mazda is pretty good. If you bring them an TSX that handles like a pig they'll give you an RX8 that handles like a god!
