Just curious if anyone here attends RPNW meets or is a member. They seem to be fairly active so I'm surprised not much talk about them. Are they not rx8 friendly?

They have an drive coming up 9/29-9/30 to the Oregon coast which seems like fun. Anyone here going?

Well, your picks about summed it up. I've been ignoring the spam on that mailing list for a year.

 

thanks for the feedback. The members at rx7club seem to be fairly involved with them so did not understand the members here are not.

 

There was a period when there were 15 or more spams a day coming across on the mailing list. If it's being policed better, I may have to check it out again.

 

It is more than a mailing list but you probably know that. They get together once a month, organize meets, tech days, dyno days and I'm sure other functions as well.

i have gone to a couple of meetings in the past and gotten to know a few of the guys. one of the head guys - Brad aka 3rotor- was the first owner of an RX-8 in the US and filmed the unloading of the first shipment

They also held the North West Rotor Rally for 5 years at the Apple Blossom Festival in Wenatchee Washignton. I went 3 years in a row and had a blast.

I wrote an article on the 2004 NW Rotor Rally for RXTuner
this year they did something different but i dont know what. I think Idaho Rotary hosted something instead.
