Hi my name's Dean and finally picked up an 08 RX-8 40th ann. edition at the end of February. I've been wanting to get one since they first came out in '03 but for one reason or another never got around to getting it.
I'm in the Beaverton/PDX area and have seen a couple of 8's out there, though not as many as I once saw when they first came out
I've been a fan of the RX ever since Initial D - yes i know it was a cartoon :P but a damn good one ^^

Just saying hi, I bought my '04 GT in December and found this website not long ago. I am WSU student.
The picture is from a week after I got it, and then it snowed like hell the next few weeks.
Why does everyone live in Seattle?!

^ Crazy, they are rare, I only know of three in Pullman. Of course, you need remember how much snow we had to realize why, jk. If you want, let me know if you are ever around, that car looks sweet.

Haven't been on this board in a bit, but I have a white 05 MT GT in Forest Grove, OR. Previous to that I had 3 MR-2s and a WRX. I never thought I would have a car I liked better than my MR-2 SC, but my 8 probably handles better stock than my MR-2 did after quite a bit of tuning.
To many out there on this board whose tips I have taken, thank you! Mt favorites were the fog light -> DRL conversion and some info on hard wired radar detector installation. I've been reading quite a bit about SC systems. One is in my future. For now I'm getting the Accessport, which is shipping as I write this. That should be interesting.

Checking in as they say (First Post!). Just took ownership of the car listed in my sig last night. Having an RX-something had been something I had wanted to get every since I could drive!
Owning an RX-8 is practically a dream come true. I traded in an 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee that no longer served its purpose for being purchased.
I'm wonderfully excited.
