Looking for owners in WA
HI all,
I just purchased a 2005 RX-8 in Feb of 06. It is the grey in the auto trans. I was just wondering if there were any local groups in the area that get together and do stuff. Look forward to hearing back.

There are several threads in the NW Forum here that will give you info on what's going on... There is a "southend" group that meets in Olympia, there's a run to Mt. St. Helens coming up in May, I think another "southend" event this weekend. The "northenders" just got together for the first time last Sunday, but plan to meet in May probably - details TBD, and you can help us plan... I think the most southern member of the "northender" gang is "dmp" out of Tacoma.

Thanks for the info. Seems like with as many RX's I see between Gig Harbor and Tacoma we would have stuff going on around here. All the ones I have found out about so far in alomost in Oregon or eastern WA. If I get enough feedback on here I would love to try to put something together for us in the Tacoma area. Let me know

'06 Galaxy Gray GT package, Forest Grove / Beaverton.
Owned a '94 Miata and a few BMW 325i's in the past.
Current other vehicles are a 1950 Chevy pickup, a '74 Honda CB750, an '88 BMW 325i ragtop, and an '04 Honda CR-V
Love the 8.

Just got a used 2004 RX-8
Bought from a private party, it's a beautiful car with 30K mi. It's actually replacing my 1991 RX-7, which had replaced a 1985 RX-7 GSL-SE which replaced a 1982 RX-7 GSL (my first RX-7!)
Obviously I love the RX!
PS: I also know a mechanic who has many years of experience working on RX-7's (and other vehicles) who now runs his own shop out in Enumclaw. His rates are very reasonable and his work is good. If anyone is interested, shoot me an e-mail.

sorry I haven't posted much on here
anyway, I recently moved to Washington- been in Port Angeles since June...
I've seen a couple other 8s around town... just saw a BB a few days ago with a Gordy's pizza delivery sign on the top of the car...

I live in Snohomish. So if you see a Gal-Gray RX8 driving around Snohomish, Woodinville, Mill Creek, Bothell, Kirkland and Bellevue areas... that might be me.

Checkin in from Seattle curentely going to school up here, but I'm acutually from Tacoma. Just got my 8 over the summer: 2004 Winning Blue Touring Package. Traded in my 2002 Civic so I got a pretty good deal on it. Hopefully I'll have some picks up soon.

Well, it looks like this thread just keeps on goin'. 
I don't check in much here, as I'm admittedly too wrapped up in driving this amazing car. For those in the area, make sure you get out and join us on the monthly group drives. We just finished up our 7th consecutive month with a group drive (8 if you include the all mazda Mt St Helens run in May) and are planning January's. Yes, that's right, some of us are crazy enough to drive year round (I haven't melted in the rain yet). It's very cool to see our community growing. Welcome, everyone.

I live in Renton and own a 2006, phantom blue 6speed AT with sport and touring packages. It is has been 25 since I loved a car as much as this one. Normally I’m not a club person, however my x8 is a passion and I would like to get involved in some events. Please point me in a good direction. BTW: I drive mine daily rain, snow or sunshine.
