This is just a notice, for those that may be new to RX8 and a reminder for those who are not. Do not Have a heart attack if there is foam on your dipstick... (of your RX8). this just means you need to drive harder to get temps up so that you can burn off the moisture in the oil.

Strangely, I've never noticed this "foam" you speak of. I wonder what the difference is?

 

i had it before but lj replaced a bunch of parts for me and it went away. apparently its not supposed to be there if they 'fixed' mine to make it go away?

 

When i first got my car and checked the oil I would see it once and a while. But it is true if u push your car this will not happen.
