Electrical Issue HELP!

I have experienced a strange issue:

Last night on my way home I lost all function of the Gauges.. MPH. RPM and ALL engine coolant airbag ETC lights were on, I was right by my house so I guided it in with no power steering. Shut it down, and Now it doesn't start, ( I got it to start once but with no gauges but generally doest do anything, Radio lights alarm, all work, Is there a way to reset our ECU? DO i need to flash my ECU? Please Let me Know.

did any warning light come on first?
if your alternator went out, all of this stuff starts to turn off as your car is losing power. (ask me how I know. )

Sounds like it could be the alternator too me. Mine went bad two weeks ago, lost all gauges, power steering, and all warning lights came on, it was only putting out 6 volts. Luckily it's super easy to change. But unfortunately very expensive, three hundred something from pepboys, over $500 from dealer (just for the alternator, not installed.)

Sounds like bad charging system. Remove the battery and have it tested/charged, and when you start the car again have the alternator checked.

I'd say it's the alternator.
