Hi I have a chance to get a extreme loaded new automatic 2004 RX-8 brilliant Black cc, Black/red Leather, navigation, 6 disc cd changer collapsable cargo carrier, all-weather floor mats and the reg mats, moonroof with wind deflector, wing spoiler, spare tire kit, appearace package, front air dam, grand touring pkg A/T, rotary accent package, side & rear aero flares,
18 alloys/sports tuned suspension, limited slip differential, stability control and fog lamps, heated mirrors & xenon headlights, and lots more. for 32,000 is this a good deal or not please help.

I would first ask why an auto and not a manual

Is this new or used.

If new it will be a normal price. Used it might be too much.

 

Go to www.edmunds.com and put in those options and see what the invoice price is. You should be able to get it for a few hundred over invoice.

 

thanks i want to that web page and it came to 37000 inv it is below so at 32000 I think it a good deal and there was more things my had that the web page did not have like the 18 inch wheels.

That is ~$30,400.

Now... for the following:

Spare tire: $320 <- uses up a lot of trunk space. You get 24/7 road side assistance with your car. Most don't bother with the spare.

Moon roof deflector: $36 <- Your moon roof has a built in deflector that pops up when the roof is open. This external deflector is not very desirable.

You also list stuff twice, like "appearance package", then listing front air dam, side and rear aero flares.

Most of the other options you list are part of the GT package... including 18" wheels.

Unless I'm missing something major, I don't see why your car would cost more than $31,000 range.

Well, with destination, it might. It looks like $32 is at least in the correct ball park. You should still ask to see the dealer invoice to verify. Bring in the edmunds print out to validate their prices.

 

For 3K more and no navi, you get a real transmission and an extra 100HP.

 

Why would you say 3k more? If you go with the MT, you pay a bit more for the base package, but you get a nice discount on the GT package. Thus only ~$300 diff.

Also, the MT doesn't give you an extra 100 hp :P
