If you guys haven't heard, the Portland Raceway was having construction done during fall and winter, and now after rebuilding the track, they are opening up on February 23rd and letting people take their cars out on the track to test it out. If you're going on the 23rd, just bring yourself, you're street car, and a $10 for a donation to Friends of PIR to be able to test out the newly paved track.

Camas, just east of vancouver. I see a bunch of 8's around in the vancouver and portland, most of them are VR.

 

Beaverton/Hillsboro near Intel.

I live in Milwaukie. I've never seen another white 8 around here before

I wish more 8's would have shown up, there were a two other ti grays there in the lot, but I never saw the owners, so I'm not sure if they were forum members or not. The pace car was going pretty slow, but I would hang way back and then get to drive at least part of the track in anger. I had a good time.

 

Saturday I went to a Dyno meet and Sunday I believe they were full and could not sign up. What day did you go?

You must have been the other one that I didn't see. Yea there were only three of us there. I met the other guy, he's also a member on these boards, not sure who he is on here though. I went around trying to look for that third one, but I guess I just couldn't find you. I saw you lined up to get on the track as soon as they started serving food. I was going to head over towards your car but I was damn hungry.

Nice pics by the way. I appreciate them. My girlfriends in the passenger seat of these, and I tried to have her take a video of us going around the track, but I think she really wanted to take a look at the passenger side of the dash board. I'll post the video up when I get a chance.
