I shaved an entire 1 second without dondo in the car

 

Why didn't we see your girlfriend racing? Your supposed to be dual driving.

 

I want her to start on my slower car. Not sure if the seven is a proper beginners car. Oh and she gets car sick so need to overcome that as well

A 2006 Phantom Blue GT 8! WOOT! Only took me 7 years.

 

Nice! How many RX cars do you guys have now?

 

We had 3 a few years back, then sold 'em all, now we're back up to 2.

 

This thing is pretty mint, practically brand new with only 6,700 miles. But like any RX, it is not without issues. The keyfob battery needs to be replaced. $2 and 10 seconds to fix it. Oh and the carpet has a couple of pine needles that need to be vaccumed out, thats about it.

Sold a long time ago:
93 RX-7
88 SE - Bad Transmission
91 Turbo II - Blown motor

Current:
93 RX-7 with LS1
06 RX-8

Thanks Linda! We actually found it listed on autotrader--the guy was in the military and never had the chance to drive the thing really, and eventually needed the cash as he was planning on getting his commercial pilot license~ We lucked out, as finding one with low miles at a decent price was what we've been waiting for.

All we'd attract in that thread is a giant flame war.

Already ordered clears and strakes, should be here by Friday. Probably not gonna drop it, we want a nice comfy ride with this one.

That is up to Kari, she can do whatever she wants to it. She will have to decide if she wants to autocross the RX-7 or this, and if so then this car might get setup for STX. But she probably won't do anything. There is still 3 years and 93,000 miles on the engine warranty so we wouldn't want to void that.

 

Well after driving this RX-8 a bit we realized the mileage isn't that great so we decided to pick something else up to daily drive that would be a bit more economical. They even had it in Kari's color.



Just kidding, this is just a shot from the Exotics at Redmond Town Center meet that is every Saturday when it is sunny.
