I was! Was coming back from a potential autox race in Bremerton--the clutch had gone out while we were on I5 so we had to trek her home in 3rd gear... thankfully she made it back! Getting her looked at now--will have the word in on Monday hopefully.

Was in eastern, WA this weekend--was there a meet up? There's the forum fest on Sat, but sadly I have to work that day.

that may work; i'm trying to fix a bypass valve issue but might have it sorted before then. easy will be in town too so maybe he'll come out w me?

 

^Ooh you're right! What day was he supposed to be in town again? I'm sure he'd love to come out and autox with us all--we need to have a foodie get together while he's in town at the least!

On the small chance that one of you might check this specific thread while you're there, how late in the day will this go on? And is it raining in Bremerton?

 

I'm not out there but these things normally go to about 5 or 6 o'clock but you have to register to race by 1130 or so. you can still go out there and check things out

 

Its good to know for future reference, but I would only be catching the tail end of things today, so It's not worth the ferry ride. Perhaps next time, when I can make the most of it.

 

There is also a morning session you can run that starts around 7:30, if I remember right. Most times you are able to run both sessions depending which class you are running in.

 

We ended up going until about 7 last night, as everyone was getting 5 runs in. We had to leave early, however, as we felt the clutch issues arising. Guess that confirms that we do need to get the tranny rebuilt.

And typically registration for the afternoon ends at 12:30.
