Cool 60,000 miles maintenance

So today I was going to finish my 60,000 miles maintenance.
I did the air filter change two or three weeks ago, I got an k&n filter.
so today I toke it to Jeffy lube for the transmission and differential oil change, and I did the engine oil and filter at home.
Now went I went to buy the oil filter at Milan Mazda, I ask them if they change my spark plugs, went they put the new engine, at around 45,000 miles. they toll me yes, its something that they wood normally do.
but went I was under the car, draining the oil, I saw the spark plug, and it was calling me so I decided to check it. went I toke it out, it had brown deposits and it had a little bit of rust and a green color on it.
so I had to spend an extra half an hour taking them out to clean them, and now a have to order them for next weekend or the fallowing one.
what really pisses me off is that they lie to me, for no resent.
if they wood have toll me no I wood have bought some that day.
anyway I hope others learn from this as I have. I will post picture of the spark plug!!!

Spark plugs don't last too long in the 8. My plugs were gone at 18k miles with the CEL flashing because of a misfire. So they could have put new plugs in.

it does depend on how you drive your car too. But that does not explained the rust on the spark plug. that takes time to build and my car has been sleeping inside for the past three years and sence I got the new engine too!!!

Have you noticed that the manual only goes to 60k as far as scheduled maintenance

^ didn't you know they don't need any maintenance after that? once they're grown up they can take care of themselves.
