Not as of now I don't really have any new pics to show off. I'm kind of spending a lot of my time on my mr2 getting it ready for a show in 3 weeks right now but as soon as its taken care of I will have a DD again and I can focus on the beast again.

Got updates? I can't wait to see the project running!
I might be doing this soon also. Except with a KA24DE-T I had laying around Just need to find a shell to mess with because my rx8 is my DD o.o;
//edit
Just wondering what kind of modifications had to be made to the fuel system/Rear end to make this setup work?

the fuel system is actually pretty simple how i set it up but its pricey and involves custom braided line from the pump to the engine and back again. the rear end took about 30 minutes of fab work to make a brace. as for the rest of it..........well if you try it you will see. there is alot of info on how ive made this work, 17 pages will take a while to read though.

Ok well I just read over all 17 pages, and all the fuel system stuff was located in the last 3 pages x-x; lol. I did however learn quite a bit from your posting, I also looked over the 2JZ posts and didn't learn so much.. x-x;
An RX8 Shell just happened to fall in my hands which is kinda nice. Friend of mine owns a junk yard and there was a perfectly good rx8 shell with no engine. Apparently it was an 04 and it was out of warrenty so they just junked it. Picked up the entire shell (Missing JUST an engine) for $800. And I have a KA24DE-T laying around from an old 240 I messed around with.
Anyways, the posts for the fuel system didn't really give that much information, it says you ran a line from the pump to the engine, then from the engine back to the pump. You didn't really put what kind of modifications you needed to do to the fuel tank itself, or what kind of pump you ended up using. Also on the steering just letting you know that a supra (3rd Gen) Power steering rack fits almost perfectly (Found by reading a post by rgonza in his V8 swap thread) in its place with a small bit of modification.
I really wanna see your beast start up though, REALLY looking forward to it!

Quick question, any chance of getting some pictures of that subframe you had made? Or even better, a complete spec list for it. I'm just about ready to put my KA24DE-T in my 2nd rx8 finished the build and now just need some fitment information.
Also I see yours is seated back REALLY far, did you do that for the transmission to line up correctly? Or is it for weight / balance information?
