SR20 det
NOPE. i have a spare engine that neds to be rebuilt that i am going to go nuts on over the next year. cams headwork, arp everything blueprinted forged bottom end and all that goodness. i would really like to get the valvetrain worked to where i could get 8500 rpm or so just so it will be a screamer.
anyone still paying attention? If so heres a really late update. for the past few weeks i have been busy doing things i gotta do and dealing with the hurrican season here in fl. as well. over the past few weeks i have installed the radiator, fans, and finished the steering shaft. sometime this week im going to finish the crazy custom swaybar and pick up alot of parts that have nickle and dimed me to death. ill post some pics thursday of whats been done so far. im going to try to make it this month dammit. in reality if all the funds were in place for parts and materials this could have been done in about a month or less, unfortunatly it hasnt been that way for me. a great deal of work and thought have gone into this project to make sure i still have a very nice car when this is all said and done, not just a thrown together pos. stay tuned i see the ligt at the end of this long *** tunnel
i have a few questions, what did you use for your throttle cable and pedal
i am trying to figue out how to keep the stock pedal
also what about the shifter location
i just got through sitting my motor in for the last time hopefully
i have a little wiring left to do for the motor to run and start with the key

i used a lokar throttle pedal and cable from summit. there is no way to use the stock assembly. one of the reasons we shoved my engine so far back is to get my shifter in the right spot. i just have to shorten the lever a bit. i still havent got power to mine. im trying to figure out how to integrate the engine electrical with the body harness thats in the car already.
so here is a lil update. ive been dealing with money problems just like everyone else in this country and i have been having to put off alot of things with the car but i have been doing a little here and there. i have some more pics to take with my nice camera, but heres a blackberry shot of my exhaust that i just built. its a flowmaster crossflow muffler and i stole the design of the system from borla. im going to be running a resignator of some sort where the stock cat used to be to quiet it down a lil.

ok here we go i did a little bit today. i ran the sr harness through the firewall ( bitch) and mounted the ecu to the passenger firewall under the dash in place of the plastic footplate under the carpet. I put the e manage and the eo1 brain in the glove box but i havent wired it up yet. also included, the pic of the exhaust coming through the bumper from farther away.
