hey mate, how can i get the same roll cage? with shipping to russia?

mdoffroad - With your rack dropped, did you notice any bump steer when cornering hard, or at all?

Document is unlikely, but there should be enough pictures for you to get going on how to mount everything (assuming you can or know someone who can fabricate) then standalone LS and transfer renesis sensors and trigger wheel for the gauges and plumb everything up. In theory simple, but as previous threads have shown, its a challenge and costly.

Looks like you haven't been on in a long time, but I'm dying for those punts or plans for them. Nobody sells them separate which Is a great way to force us to spend a ungodfull amount of money on 30$ worth of steel.

I am a fabricator myself by trade but I have a extra subframe so I'm going to do the entire swap on my extra subframe in the garage so I can continue to drive the rx8 in the mean time. So that means I won't be pulling out my motor anytime soon to be test fitting a engine to get brackets.

Even some measurements would help.

If anyone with a Hinson kit could get me some numbers please that would be great. I'm willing to pay for those numbers to prevent wasting all of my money on crap I can build at work on my break.

That doesnt sound like a good plan. I built a copy of the Hinson kit i bought and either gonna sell it or swap another when mine is finished. If you fab the subframe without having the motor/car to test fit, youre gonna wind up making alot of wrong moves. Either money or time, gotta spend one

That's what I'm saying I want to make a copy of one if someone has the ability to get me the measurenents. I'm a welder filter, it's what I do every day. All these cars are the same so I just need some measurements and I can make them myself. I could just make all of my own mounts by doing it the old fashion way, but why waste time when I can pay someone to give me the info on theirs.

LSXREX 01-10-2015 10:22 PM

That's a huge risk to invest a lot of money and time into someone else's numbers. Your best bet is to either buy the kit or tear your car down to do the fab work the right way the first time.
