That sounds simple enough, but the gauge cluster is CAN BUS setup so i'm not sure the pulse goes directly to the cluster from the ABS system. From the wiring diagrams it looks like it goes to the PCM and then from the PCM via can bus to the cluster.
So I guess get that G/R wire from the abs connector then connect the t56 VSS sensor to that and let the rx8 PCM do it's job (is that what you did?) Also what's up with the speed sensor wire in the Audio head unit, has the signal in that wire been translated by the PCM? What is the point of this wire though? A nav system should calculate speed via distance/time. a local is selling a mint viper spec t56 and ls1 longblock for a crazy good price... sooooo tempted to take this on. I would like the .doc when its done please. also a price shipped to 89502 for all the needed brackets.

Thinking of selling this car, as you all know I didn't build this car because it was my dream car it was just a project that Hinson pissed me off about.
I'm not sure of its value, I would appropriate any feedback that you all might have. I think I might just put it on Ebay and see what happens. With that said I'm up for a new project.....Any suggestions? FYI...The car has a few little dings and the driver seat has wear to it. I tried to make it as much as a sleeper as I could and think I accomplished it as good as I could. |

I was directing that towards the guy selling an o2 sensor. As for your rx8 the price would be subjective to the person interested. Objectively however it's got more power/torque, increased reliability, and common platform so its easy to find a shop to service engine issues, but only you know what's going on with it in case something goes wrong with anything else later. Subjectively I would place it @ $12k.

Oh man.....I have an 04 rx8 and I was just told by my mechanic I may have blown my seals.... Me thinks it's time for an engine swap of the v-8 variety. I have a question. Has anyone heard of doing a 5.0 ford swap into the rx8? I was just trying to think of another plentiful(cheap) engine to possibly do this swap with. Any input would be appreciated. As for YOU mdoffroad.....AWESOME! I may need to pick your brain abit....
