This is why at a certain level scatter shields are required. It happens fairly often, I saw it happen to a Turbo Sentra SE-R back in the day, the guy wasn't hurt luckily but it destroyed the car.

I never knew that polishing parts presented a danger that needed kevlar shields to mitigate?

I said money, not 9krpmrx8 type mods. I think it was on his 980whp meth injected novicharged c5. It might have been on the nitrous build c5 though. I wasn't there.

There was a guy with a black C5Z with Novi2000 in Toronto that had the same happen.

Went to the QuickTime SFI bell housing after that lol, but their $$$. Guess so is medical bills for an american though when your feet get fucked up.

Joker is safe with free health care, maybe that's the mind set with stacking flywheels?

It must be! Well, not technically free health care... I've seen the kind of taxes you guys have been paying around here. Sorry, I shouldn't go there.

^Oh snap!!! LOL! and yeah feel free, I go there all the time. With the taxes we pay, sometimes it might just be better to have pay-for health insurance.

I mean as it stands we basically have forced pay-for Healthcare.

hey so i am running the automatic fly wheel with a custom made 15mm hubcentric 8 bolt spacer then the 1jzgte manual flywheel fastened with NEW 10.9 grade steel hex cap bolts sealed with blue loctite 243 and torqued to 65ftlbs

I also intend to use no more than a stage 2 clutch kit, the weakest point is the rx-8 6 speed tranny ill have to rebuild it or replace it by next summer for sure

the auto fly wheel accommodates the 1jzgte starter the manual flywheel spacer moves the manual flywheel closer onto the spline shaft so it's the only way to make them work together

So your planning on rebuilding your tranny before you ever get the car running. Its probably not worth spending the money. Put it toward the swap.
