It is not true, Turdblown has dyno results to prove how much HP a renny cane make. And according to Elliot many people are running their turbo kits making mad power on a Renesis, those people just live under rocks and only drive those RX-8's in Area 51 apparently.

I do, I remember seeing videos of it afterwards all busted up doing donuts in the dirt with no air filter on the engine. And then it was put up for sale,

A buddy just built this using my old Rene side and centre plate with some stock hb Cosmo 13b housings. 5port exhaust Rene/re hybrid.

Heard this in person last nite, man it's loud with the webber intake. He's pretty much slapped it together to see how it runs, now he's gonna put the Rene intake on it with aftermarket ECU etc.
