Why not use something like this with a simple rpm switch?

2 25" Exhaust Cutout Butterfly Valve with Electric Motor | eBay

or there are vaccuum driven ones too

have semi pp's gradually start opening up once you hit -5 psi tb vaccuum

you have options ....

Rotarywerks

I can't see OE throttle-body not being a restriction.

I'd consider building an UIM with a larger tb for the final rendition.

run the semi PP from the UIM with the electronic/vacuum built in tb to turn them on/off.

After all, that's how suzuki did it (6m 35 sec in)

Shady...ever tried to run 13B rotors with a 12A housing

Other than that seems interesting,. Looks like a GSLE 13B housing though...it will have the seal grooves on it

Could you please elaborate? Another video?

What are you saying? Are you talking about the exhaust port/spark plug timing?

To everyone: Cut the guy some slack. If I was going to build a prototype/proof of concept with the skills and usable parts I had around, this is how I'd do it.

Why build an expensive experimental engine? Especially if you are on a budget.

To Rotary Werks: Op, your quoting skills are driving me insane! (no offense, but please try to do something about it.) It's just adding to the general aggravation of the thread for me....

The thing is what you are saying is so obvious that i cnt find a way just to laugh about it , you prob just noticed you cant use 12a housings with 13b rotors. Is that it?

If you guys have just negative thngs to say i will be closing this thread.

God...you must think we are stupid or something?

Anyway..I wish you luck....I can totally get with the experimenting though...

I have an engine that has so many different series parts that I can hardly keep up

GSLSE front cover, rx-8 stat gears and shaft, Series 6 plates, custom intakes ......

I'm not sure that what the Renesis needs is more intake area though. I hope that you have come up with something....Although personally the exhaust is more of a problem than the intake for getting more power out of it...boosted anyway

a few people on here have demonstrated superior fabrication skills compared to what you posted at the beginning. Sorry if you had a preconceived notion that everyone should be gushing about how great you are. The reality is that the idea in general is not new or even unique. You might have been better served to actually have tested first and then posted impressive results second rather than make wishful predictions before the fact.

You are here for the attention so just lap it up and lay off the hair-trigger reply button. People will respect your ability once demonstrated & earned, which is why nobody has yet ...

LOOL dammit I meant the first gen 13b not a 12A, for starters the 12A doesn't have an OMP port so it couldn't be one anyways.

Leave me alone :*(
