Turn key and nothing happens Need Help!!

Hi everyone I have a problem I own a 2004 rx8 with 92.000k on the clock but engine has been rebuilt 20k ago it all started off with the car not iddeling properly used to idle low and sometimes when pulling up to the lights when i stop it used to cut out and i would have to wait 20min or longer to start it back up now a week ago i drove it came home parked up and as soon as i stopped accelerating it just dropped idle and cut out and since then I turn the key and nothing starter dosent turn i just hear the relays click and nothing happens ive checked the battery its brand new and fully charger I have checked all the cables from the battery and ground wires and fuses I have the 2kw uprated starter motor not even 2 months old yet the coils and leads and spark plugs are new I really need to figure out what the problem is and when I turn the key to the on possition you can hear electronics wining under the hood anyone have any ideas on what the problem is?

Possible ignition switch? Does the starter click or do the relays click? Big difference. MT? If so why don't you try pull starting it.

Is it a manual or an automatic? If the clutch isn't working properly this might explain some of those symptoms- dropping out of idle, engine not turning...
Definitely get someone to listen to the relays as you try and crank it.
I can't see it being the ignition switch if the car drops idle, though.

Check the trigger wire on the starter solenoid. It is a blade connector and they can fall off if they have been put on and off a few times

The idle problem, and the hard starts is something different. i would seriously have the compression checked...sounds like you have low compression

It's a manual and compression is fine and no starter doesn't click the relays click it's strange this all started happening since I disconnected my battery and reconnected it I've checked the cables and everything done the reset but nothing worked
