I got two new tires installed (oem rims) and they broke one of the oem tpms sensor. The tire place replaced the sensor with an aftermarket one (don't know what brand) and now the tpms sensor on dash stays lit and beeps five times every few minutes. I've gone through the reset procedure but it doesn't seem to work. Do aftermarket tpms sensors not work? I've scoured the web but can't find an answer.

 

You can't just replace them with any old sensor. Check your owners manual for more info.
