tpms sync/reset

I've searched around and was unable to find what I was looking for...

I had bought a new set of wheels that were not tpms compatible and I didn't mind and just dealt with it. I just recently sold my car, and the buyer wanted the car (at a lower price) with the stock rims. So I sold my aftermarket rims and got stockers from the guy who bought them. He had tpms which worked out great, because I could get rid of the tpms light for the buyer of my car. Unfortunately, I forgot to figure out how to do it before selling it to him and he just asked me how why the light's on.

A few threads mentioned a reset procedure mentioned in the manual, but I no longer have the manual. Thanks in advance for any help... figured I'd try to help the guy out since he just got it.

Never seen that before... very useful. I guess I haven't been a member long enough lol.

Should the key remain in the ignition during the wait period?

Hi to all!!! About a month ago, my TPMS goes off after arounf 10min of driving. Starts blinking and will not stop.

I read the manual and follow the basis steps to reset when changing tires but hasn't work. Tire preassures are under oem specs and everything seems fine. Even have to change the batterie but the problem persists.

Does anyone knows how to reset it without going to a Dealer/mechanic.

Please, I heve read almost all I could find in this site and havn't found a specific answer.

Tks

3. Perform Wheel Unit Auto Registration:
a. Turn ignition on.
b. Turn ignition off.
c. Leave vehicle with engine off for more than 15 minutes.
d. Drive each vehicle over 25 KM/h (16 MPH) for more than 10 minutes to register the new ID codes
