Strut damage

I have a sound coming from what seems to be the front left of the car. I reckon it's the struts.

From the inside it's a clicking sound that you can feel through the seat as well as the steering wheel. It doesn't knock the steering either way, but you can definitely feel it. From the outside it's a pudgy sound, almost like rubber/something being compressed. It's consistent with the speed of the wheels and I cannot recreate the noise without load (can't just spin the wheel while jacked up and hear it).

I've attached a video of the front left strut. I have no experience with suspension. Is it actually damaged? If so, how badly; is it driveable at all?

Hey Luke T,
I've looked at your video and yes there is damage to your bump stop and dust boot.
Both of theses need to be replaced when you replace the shock with a new one (they come in pairs L + R)
Have a look for NC mx5 polly mount kit as they fit a stock style of shock set up.
My thought is that if you can feel the seat or steering wheel then it's probable that it is a ball joint.
there is a few on the front. this includes the sway bar links.

hope this helps.
